Dude you’ve got to go research Dabrowski’s Thoery of Positive Disintegration.
Only fools think they’re impenetrably intelligent.
It’s often those of the highest Intelligence’s that feel stupid… and who can blame us for feeling that way when we are surrounded by cruel/ rabid apes?

Neurotypical a run the world… it’s no wonder why everything is so illogical and faulty @_@

Hi there!

Thank you. I found your article very intriguing and it actually made a postive difference in my life today. Eight years ago, I was told by my HR at my place of employment that I was an infj...they had me do the MB test as they picked up on my skills and talents as a women technician and discovered I was gifted or so called " special ". At first I was so clueless as to why they wanted me to do the test. I never heard about it before. Shocking, I know. I always assumed I was just a smart, curious, and determined gal. I fix and creare things with ease. I also have an obsession to seek truth in all that exists in our world and endless universe. It's truly been a beautiful journey. Someone like me who also spends a good amount of time alone in quiet solitude or in nature, I didn't understand my company's excitement about finding out if I was indeed one of the MB personalities. Well...the results of the test indicated I was and after reading about it and doing my own intense research and analysis on it; like my employer i too was intrigued. Infact, I saw myself for the very first time. That was so cool!

I believe we are all unique and capable of so much.
However, I also agree that a simple test shouldn't lock you in with an identity or label you; rather it should give you insight about yourself. All my life I had people wondering " what i am" or " what is she" especially after witnessing me demonstrate a skill or talent. But now, I see how the test was beneficial for me. I got to know me a little more. However, there's more to me then just being an infj. I think it is very important to connect with people who are like minded and with other infj's, so you can learn more about yourself, and represent the beautiful infj personality in our magnificent world.

So...Hi! I'm Kiren. It's nice to meet you. ☺️

While reading this post, I constantly felt violated. The real way to understand yourself is definitely by combining your MBTI type with your enneagram. Before that I tried to fit in with INTJs INTPs and INFPs but something always felt amiss.

Thank you for this post. Now I know for sure I’m not weird and despite being from the least minority of population, I’m definitely not the only one.

Hello I liked your descriptions of life and appreciate for humans but strong preference for being alone. Same here. I always test INTJ but I actually dislike maths and have hang ups about numbers. I can do it but it feels like hard work. Whereas language, literature and psychology/psychiatry are super compelling. I also strongly dislike people arguing and conflict and yet INTJs seems to not be bothered by that. Bizarrely I’m an a lawyer specialising in litigation and appear in court a lot. But in that context disputes are okay. Though I am very, very good at mediation. I identify strongly when I read about INFJ but also aspects of INTJ. When I read about and tested over and over as an enneagram 5w4 that made sense. That fits me 100% and I think I’m INFJ but I actually have learnt not to care too much either way. What I’ve learned about Myers Briggs and the enneagram has helped me a lot. No one who knows me would believe what an introvert I am. I’m glad you have friends. I actually don’t really think I have proper friends at all to be brutally honest though I don’t appear that way. Sometimes I worry about it but when I think about it I can’t identify anyone I’d actually want to contact. Maybe you should become an engineer? I’d like to have been a psychiatrist but there was the maths issues.

The ideal work environment for an INFJ is harmonious, industrious, and oriented to a humanitarian mission, with co-workers who are similarly committed to positive change. The ideal job for a Counselor allows them to use their creativity in an independent, organized environment to develop and implement a vision that is consistent with their personal values. The top driver for INFJs in choosing a career is the opportunity to do something that is consistent with their values. Often, INFJs choose careers in helping professions like health care, education, or counseling. INFJs are thinkers by nature and appreciate careers that allow them to use their intellect on problems that interest them. Often, these are people problems, for instance in psychology, but INFJs can also be found in other areas of the sciences and even engineering.
